About This Project

This course fulfills emergency response for hazardous materials emergency training requirements under OSHA 29 CFR 1910.120 NFPA 472 and EPA 165.15 for any employers or employees engaged in emergency response operations. This course is offered as a ten-day program including classroom instruction, lecture, audio-visual presentation, demonstration, spill exercise, damming, diking, diverting, retention, plugging and patching and is designed to train students to identify, control and contain spills and to respond to releases of hazardous materials. Additionally, the class will cover some advances decontamination and metering training topics, as well as techniques for chemical identification.
